Overnight roadworks will begin as part of major travel improvement plans.
Work will begin on the A432 Badminton Road from Coalpit Heath railway viaduct to Frog Lane, starting the week of Monday, June 22.
This is part of a wider scheme to improve transport links, including new segregated walking and cycling routes, better crossings, enhanced bus stop facilities, and safer, clearer road layouts.
A spokesperson for the travel improvement scheme said: "We’ll take steps to minimise noise, including scheduling the most disruptive work earlier in the evening."
To reduce disruption, works that require lane restrictions will take place overnight between 8pm and 6am.
Temporary traffic signals will be in place during these hours and removed during the day.
This approach aims to keep daytime traffic moving for residents, commuters, schools, and businesses.
