A MAN from Gloucestershire has been charged with more than 50 sexual offences against children to whom he is related.
The 51 charges against the man, who is a white British national, include rape, sexual assault by penetration, sexual assault by touching and causing or inciting to engage in sexual activity.
Gloucestershire police said the offences were allegedly committed against a number of children and are said to have taken place over a number of years.
The man, aged 55, appeared in court today, Thursday, August 20.
He has been remanded in custody ahead of his next court hearing.
