POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Dursley in the early hours of Sunday morning, November 15.
Between 3am and 3.45am a 26-year-old man was walking along Long Street when he was approached from behind and assaulted. He was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital as a precaution and treated for bruising. Anyone with any information about the theft is asked to contact police on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 118 of November 15 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
