FREE tickets to a popular up-and-coming music festival are up for grabs for those who are willing to volunteer during the event.

The organisers of the North Nibley Music Fesitval, being held on Saturday, July 3, are offering free tickets to any adult willing to do a two hour slot volunteering to help set-up or clean-up on the day.

Chris Gordon, one of the festival organisers, said: "As the festival has grown in terms of size and quality, so we have had to adapt how we operate.

"Increasingly we are doing the same things as the really big festivals. We have made the site a secure enclosure, we have members of staff walking around helping members of the public and cleaning the site as the festival takes place and we have many more people working on the gate to make entry that much smoother.

"We also need people to help out behind the bar and we have a large team setting up the site the day before and clearing things up the day after."

The music festival has grown in size this year with a larger stage, more bands and entertainment and the organisers are expecting more visitors as well.

"Volunteering is great fun," added Mr Gordon. "The two hour slot goes incredibly quickly because you are part of the team and you can still take in the festival atmosphere."
