KIND-HEARTED children at a Winterbourne primary school are spreading a little Christmas cheer with donations of gifts, clothes and toys.
The youngsters at Elm Park Primary School have filled 70 shoeboxes with unwanted presents, hats and pens for the annual Samaritan’s Purse appeal.
School administrator Lynne Wood said pupils had really enjoyed the project.
"The children have given a lot of things and the shoeboxes will be sent to Belarus," she said.
"We had a lady from Samaritan’s Purse come into school and give a talk on where their donations would go. All of the children listened and it was quite emotional."
The shoeboxes will be delivered to children in Belarus before Christmas.
