A WOMAN from the Yate area has been sentenced for drink driving.
Elise McDonald, aged 29, was caught in Harewood Road, Bristol having consumed 50 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on June 25 last year.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
McDonald, of Perry Close, Winterbourne, pleaded not guilty at Bristol Magistrates Court on March 15, however was found guilty.
She was banned from driving for 14 days and ten points were added to her licence.
She was also fined £150 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £60 plus £85 in costs - a total of £295.
