Dursley in Bloom volunteers have been busy preparing the town for judging.
Judges will visit the town on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 17.
The route starts at the Vale Hospital allotments and proceeds to Rednock School before going on in to town.
Dursley in Bloom chair Penny Hyde said: "We're hoping the judges will be impressed with our 12 new, larger, hanging baskets in addition to the 32 traditional style ones in the town.
"The larger ones have an in built reservoir which holds 2 litres of water to help with water conservation in the hot summer days.
"If they prove to be successful we plan to purchase more of these for the summer of 2019."
