A farm in Arlingham is celebrating its 30th birthday later this month - and it wants your memories.
In May 1988 St Augustines Farm opened its gates to the public for the first time, having been in Rob Jewell’s family since 1804.
Ever since it has been welcoming schools, children’s groups and families to learn about the countryside and where their food comes from.
The farm has had a dairy herd for over 50 years and for 20 years it produced organic milk as members of the Soil Association, in turn allowing thousands of children to learn about how milk is produced.
To celebrate thirty years the farm is holding a special event on Saturday, August 25 where it hopes to exhibit memories from its visitors.
People are invited to send their photos or stories for a display in the barn either by email staugustines@btconnect.com or by post to St Augustines Farm, Arlingham, Gloucester GL2 7JN.
