I LIVE in a three-bed semi that me and my wife would like to swap for a two-bed bungalow but the builders are not interested because there is not enough profit.
In Yate we could do with 1,000 new two-bed bungalows that would free up 1,000 three-bed houses - much-needed.
We could have our own pensioners community.
I have often mentioned this to some of my friends around our age and they have all found it hard because when a bungalow comes on the market the estate agent already has a list of potential buyers and then you have no guarantee.
A neighbour of ours took over two years to buy a bungalow.
So if you are a planning officer and you are reading this, please keep in mind more bungalows.
