HOW gratifying it is to see sections of the world uniting behind our country by standing up to Russia.
It would be even more rewarding if those same countries boycotted the football World Cup.
This would really damage Putin's ego.
How about considering another venue?
No doubt I shall be told of the huge disappointment to all footballers who have trained hard.
Perhaps they should reflect on the hundreds of children killed by Russian bombs who will never play any sport.
People and countries should have the courage to stand up to a ruthless dictator and boycott the World Cup.
