DARLINGTON will host AFC Telford United in the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy following this morning’s draw.

Telford currently sit seven places and nine points above Darlington in the National League North table, although Quakers ran out comfortable 3-0 winners when the two sides met at Blackwell Meadows in the league at the start of September.

Their FA trophy tie will also be staged at Blackwell Meadows, with the game provisionally scheduled for Saturday, November 24.

Spennymoor Town have also been handed a home draw in the third qualifying round, with Southern League Premier Division side Halesowen Town set to visit Brewery Field. Halesowen, who are in the bottom half of the Southern Premier, beat Prescot Cables 3-2 in the second qualifying round at the weekend.

York City will travel to Kidderminster Harriers in the third qualifying round, while Blyth Spartans will host Marske United. South Shields will travel to winners of the replay between Stratford Town and Mickleover Sports.
