A COFFEE and cake morning in Alveston Methodist Church Hall will raise money for the Thornbury-based charity Multiple Sclerosis People's Help.
The charity was formed 12 years ago by Roger Wall and chairman Shaun McCarthy, who both have MS.
Now it runs two successful charity shops in St Mary Street, which sell donations of good quality furniture, clothing, books and bric-a-brac.
Money raised from the shops and events is used to carry out free DIY work and household tasks for people with MS.
The Alveston fund raiser, to include a raffle and sale of cakes, starts at 10.30amon Wednesday, February 4. Entry costs £1.
