A TALK about Thornbury's branch railway line will trace the route of the line which closed in the 1960s.
Local historian Meg Wise will tell how the line, which ran from Yate, opened in 1872 and give details about the station buildings along the route.
The talk starts at 7.30pm on Friday, February 13, in the United Reformed Church. Tickets cost £5, to include refreshments, and should be booked in advance at the town museum.
