A WEATHER warning has been issued for much of Gloucestershire and parts of South Gloucestershire with snow and ice forecast.
The Met Office expects snow to gradually make its way south east throughout the day, eventually hitting the region this afternoon.
Localised snowfall could occur even earlier and snow has already fallen in the Dursley and Wotton-under-Edge areas.
Snow is forecast to arrive in the late afternoon and expected to last through into this evening.
