THORNBURY Golf Club’s popular junior open competition will be held on Tuesday, April 8.
Last year more than 70 players from 18 clubs took part in the event, which was won by Jamie Dick from Clevedon with a gross 72.
With the weather improving and the course drying out, the organisers are hoping to get as many as 90 entries for this year’s open, which is again supported by Thornbury Rotary Club as part of its youth involvement programme.
The Rotarians act as marshals and ball-spotters, and provide sponsorship and a trophy for the best net score.
