DURSLEY U14s travelled to Bournemouth on Saturday to play in their annual tournament.
After winning all their games in the pool they managed to just beat a tough Hemel Hempstead side in the semi-final.
However, in the final the hosts proved too tough, even though Dursley took an early lead with a well try from Ben Cole.
Other try scorers for Dursley in the tournament were Frazer Holroyd (3), Josh Greenlagh, Sam Weston and Jake Hawkins to help them return with runners-up medals.
The following day the squad moved onto Newbury RFC, and upset the home team with a 22-12 victory.
A hat-trick of tries two days on the trot earned Holroyd the Player of the Tour award with the other try being scored by Toby Kerry-Campbell.
Greenlagh finished off the scoring with one conversion.
