Dyrham & Hinton (131) lost to Almondsbury (134-4) by six wickets
ALMONDSBURY strengthened their grip at the top of the table with a convincing victory over Dyrham and Hinton.
Electing to bat first, Dyrham swiftly put 62 on the board inside 13 overs before Almondsbury skipper Andy Parkinson rang the changes and began to make steady inroads into the home side's batting.
Aaron Jones (6-3-13-1), together with Dean May (8-3-13-4), kept a tight rein on proceedings as both received admirable support from Greg Stephens (12-3-19-2) and Steve Braund (6.1-0-20-3), dismissing the home side for 131.
In reply, Almondsbury began in an unsteady fashion with Parkinson (29), Wood (15), Stephens (0) and Hartigan (18) back in the pavilion with only 77 on the board.
Josh Slade and Deepak Bhadri came to the crease and saw Almondsbury home with ten overs to spare, each finishing undefeated on 28.
