Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Division One
Dursley Town 1 FC Barometrics 5
DURSLEY remain in serious trouble near the foot of the table following this heavy defeat against FC Barometrics at the Rec.
Town had plenty of possession without looking overly-dangerous and were carved open almost at will by the visitors, particularly during the opening half-hour.
Baros had built-up a three-goal cushion by the 30-minute mark, although the hosts gave themselves hope before half-time when Sean Bailey converted a penalty.
However, the away side scored a fourth goal right at the start of the second period and rounded off their victory with an emphatic penalty kick late on.
Dursley: P Dykes; L Jones, D French, B Matthews, R Swift (G Penlington 60); J Hill (J Dolbear 80), Carl Bailey, L Thomas, S Bailey; C Mills (J Redbond 70), P Law. Not Used: K Watson (gk).
Goals: S Bailey (pen 45).
* Dursley Reserves’ visit to their Kingswood counterparts and the third-team game at Rodborough Old Boys were both postponed due to waterlogged pitches.
