STINCHCOMBE’S Kieran Slater has been selected to represent the nation at the Archery World Cup in Antalya.
The male recurve team consists of Slater, triple Olympian Larry Godfrey and Patrick Huston, who were successful in winning a silver medal at the European Championship in Nottingham.
Slater, 22, started archery in 2005 and made his international debut in 2012.
He was part of the bronze medal-winning team at the World Archery University Championships in Poland in 2014 and 2015.
The Stinchcombe hotshot reached the final 16 in the recurve men’s competition at the European Games in Baku along with other major events he has shot at.
