GLOUCESTER will again utilise a number of the first team squad on Friday evening, with Pro 12 side Glasgow Warriors in town for the final preseason game ahead of the new season.
Greig Laidlaw, Matt Kvesic, Charlie Sharples and Tom Denton will all make their first appearances of the summer after sitting out last Saturday's narrow defeat to Leinster Rugby in Dublin, as the Cherry and Whites opt for a 30-man squad to give as many of the first team an opportunity.
Matt Scott will make his Kingsholm debut in the first half, partnering Billy Twelvetrees in the midfield whilst Billy Burns is handed the reigns at fly half.
Yann Thomas will also make his first appearance of preseason, partnership experienced duo Richard Hibbard and John Afoa in the front row.
Up against the quality Glasgow back row, the Cherry and Whites call upon an all-international trio of Ross Moriarty, Kvesic and Ben Morgan – a try scorer last weekend.
In the second half, Tom Denton will make his first appearance in Cherry and White, whilst new signing Andy Symons will make his Kingsholm debut in the midfield.
Kick off at Kingsholm is at 7:45pm on Friday evening.
