FATHER Christmas stopped off at Cotswold Edge Golf Club recently to see all the children at the annual Children’s Christmas party.
Excited youngsters enjoyed some entertainment and a tea before Father Christmas and his elf arrived on a sleigh along the 18th fairway and handed out gifts.
Sid Pratt retained the trophy in the Don Milner Christmas Competition with an impressive 40 points where men and ladies compete in a stableford competition and then come together for a Christmas lunch.
Results – overall trophy winner: Sid Pratt 40; Division 1: Steve Hacker 38, Willie Cruickshank 37, & Richard Rogers 36; Division 2: John Newns 39, Josh Buncher 35 & John Barrett 32; Division 3: Barry Thompson 39, Kev Reeves 34 & Charlie Gale 33; Ladies: Anne Crawley 33, Sue Freeland 30 & Ali Buncher 29.
Cotswold Edge Golf Club would like to wish all members and visitors a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and a good golfing season in 2017.
