Henbury 1 Thornbury Town 2
THORNBURY Town completed their fixtures and will have to settle for fourth position in the table, the same spot they finished last season.
They came away from Henbury with a 2-1 win and opened the scoring on eight minutes from a corner from the right that was headed home by Joe Guest.
The only real chance created by the home side came in the 12th minute a 20 yard free kick that was well saved by the Thornbury keeper.
Five minutes before the break Henbury were reduced to ten men when Reece Purnell received a red card.
Thornbury went 2-0 up on 58 minutes from the penalty spot put away by Toby Bennett.
The home side although a player short did manage to find the back of the Thornbury net in the 81st minute a Jack Mills free kick from the edge of the box finding the bottom corner.
