DARING to dream, Dan Wishart wants to play his boyhood club Chelsea in the FA Cup third round.

Forest Green are 90 minutes from a potential plum draw and Wishart  fancies a trip to the Premier League big hitters.

"My team is Chelsea, so obviously to go to Stamford Bridge would be a dream," said Wishart.

Rovers' attacking left-side players is hoping  Mark Cooper's side can emulate the success his former side Sutton United had in the FA Cup last season.

The 25-year-old left Sutton last October and missed out when the two sides met in the competition the same month, with Sutton coming out 2-1 victors.

His old team went on to make it all the way to the quarter-finals, eventually succumbing to Arsenal, and despite going on his own journey to Wembley with FGR last term, he wants to taste some cup success, starting with Exeter City tomorrow.

"The FA Cup is massive. Everyone is looking at it, everyone is watching who gets who, the lesser teams beating the bigger teams, it's every kid's dream to play a big team and beat them,” he said.

“I didn’t get to play against Sutton in that game (last season) and obviously we lost.

“I watched their journey and it was, in a sense, gutting but I feel like my journey with the promotion was better.”
