Gloucestershire County Women’s League Division One
Chipping Sodbury Ladies 2
Dursley Town Ladies 1
DURSLEY made it an unlucky seven against Chipping Sodbury as they remain pointless at the bottom of the Division One table having now played all of their divisional rivals.
Jess Brown scored an equalising goal for the visitors, but it was not enough as Sodbury struck late to claim all three points.
Dursley are now four points adrift of Gloucester sides Abbeymead and Longlevens and will need to get their season up and running if they are to prevent themselves finishing rock bottom.
- Dursley’s men’s first-team suffered another blow at the weekend as Northern Senior Two’s bottom club were unable to raise a team for their away fixture at Welland, therefore forfeiting the points.
They will hope for better luck ahead of this week’s home match with Whaddon (2pm), while the reserves, who did not have a game last weekend, have a bottom-of-the-table clash at Abbeymead.
