Slimbridge 1

Larkhall Athletic 1

KOREY PRING bagged a last-gasp point for Slimbridge.

Pring nodded home an 89th minute header after Lewis Powell opened the scoring for Larkhall.

Larkhall dominated the first-half and almost took the lead after 10 minutes, Lewis Powell knocking the ball past Eric Edge, but his powder-puff shot allowed Christien Turner time to collect the ball and clear upfield.

At the other end Tornado Bello, Dean Turner and Yeshaya Lomotey linked up to force a corner for the Swans, Christien Turner heading over at the far post.

Five minutes into the second-half, Dean Turner and Sam Mendes teed-up Lomotey, but he fired wide.

On the hour mark, Mendes shot from 15 yards was saved well by Semmens as Slimbridge started to boss the game.

Five minutes later it was Mbunga turn to fire over from the edge of the box after a spell of neat passing.

On 75 minutes Edge was on hand to save from Hope after a short spell of pressure by Larkhall.

With the game reaching the end of normal time, Mbunga’s cross from the right was headed clear for a corner at the far post by substitute Gary Colborne. Mendes' corner on the left was fired over towards the far corner of the box, where Pring managed to send a looping header across goal and into the net.

Slimbridge face a long trip to Devon to face bottom of the table Barnstaple Town on Saturday.
