WINTERBOURNE proved too strong for Keynsham.

The home team started strongly and dominated the opening exchanges with the pace of Will Lacey and Ben Davis causing the visitors defence all sorts of problems. Bourne nearly took the lead when a fine effort by Henry Birt saw his effort beat Keynsham keeper but saw the ball rebound off the crossbar.

Winterbourne were dominating the game. and possession but were guilty of wasting chances they eventually took the lead when Will Lacey showed composure and skill to beat the Keynsham defence and finish smartly from a tight angle.

Keynsham got back into the game after Zak Greatorex was allowed to run unchallenged for 20 yards into the box he slotted ball into the net.

Less than three minutes later Winterbourne retook the lead when Will Lacey grabbed his second of the game after another great team move. As the first half came to a close the visitors were finding more time and space on the ball but they failed to create any clear cut chances

Winterbourne made several personal and tactical changes at the break and were rewarded early in the second half when Kieran Joseph broke into the box and his cross found half-time substitute Harry Baker who slotted home to extend the lead to 3-1.

Winterbourne went close grabbing a fourth goal when a Toby Bevan effort looked a goal all the way only for the finger tips of Keynsham’s keeper tipping the ball over the bar.

However, the home team were not to be denied a fourth goal when a fine flowing move and a great cross by Harry Baker saw Kieran Joseph time his run to perfection and hammer the ball home. Keynsham nearly pulled a goal back, but Ben Hillier in goal made a smart save down low to the right.
