Berkeley racing cyclist & Castle School Thornbury sixth form student, Pfeiffer Georgi,18, competed for Great Britain in the Junior Women Time Trial and Road Race World Championships held in Innsbruck, Austria.
Rounding off a great season on the road, Pfeiffer claimed fourth in the time trial event and 11th in the road race. Both hilly courses, she was just four seconds away from a podium place in the time trial. Team GB took to the podium to gain second place in the season long Nations Cup. Pfeiffer’s now in her off-season this month before road and track training begins again and looks forward to indoor velodrome events through the winter.
