Gloucestershire County Women's League Division Two

Dursley Town Ladies 12 (Twelve) Cribbs Women 0

FIVE-goal Michelle Watson struck her 52nd hat-trick in women's football – but her first for nearly eight years – as Dursley crushed lowly Cribbs at the Rec.

The veteran playmaker, who scored the vast majority of her goals for Cam Bulldogs under her maiden name of Purse, last netted a treble in 2010.

There were three goals apiece for forwards Charlotte Warren and Zoe Gabb, while Vicky Mansell was also on target against the ten-man visitors.

In addition, there was a virtuoso display from veteran midfielder Stephanie 'Biff' Hill, who set up numerous goals with terrific vision and passing.

Two Warren strikes bookended the first half, with a Watson 25-yarder and a Gabb effort in amongst some wasteful shooting as Town eyed goals galore.

However, the hosts knocked the ball around better in the second half, showing a more patient approach that tired the spirited but limited away side.

Watson completed her hat-trick with a volley and a header from close in, bisected by a 20-yard Mansell blast, while Warren pounced on an error for her third.

A long-range curler gave Watson number four, before Gabb struck twice in quick succession for her treble, and Watson got a fifth with the last kick.
