Olveston and District Bowling Club is delighted to have secured a new sponsor for next season. Hardwicke-based firm, Slimbridge Estate Planning, have signed a £500 deal with the 85 year-old club.

"I am delighted to be associated with the bowling club," said co-founder James Weaver.

"Along with my wife Jane, we have been in business for just over two years and it has always been our intention to get involved with the local community and be in a position to give something back".

Club president Derek Severs, chairman Geoff Cook and treasurer Richard Bennett welcomed James to the club. Geoff Cook is coming to the end of his first year as chairman.

"I look forward to having a game with James next season," said Geoff.

"Since we started working with our sponsors, we have tried to incorporate businesses that would benefit our members, family and friends. James' services will help our members to plan for their future and to give peace of mind when it matters.

"We are in a very privileged position" said president Derek.

"With James and the support of all our sponsors, we continue to grow as a club and develop our facilities."
