Stroud and District Division 1: Phoenix A entertained Phoenix C in the latest in-house derby and it was the visiting C team led by Dave Hadley.
The match finished 2-8 with the away captain unbeaten on the night. Cirencester played hosts to Frampton A and with Abu scoring a maximum for the visitors it was the they who left with the advantage and a 6-4 victory.
Yate went down 3-7 at home to Woodchester B as both Clive Ellison and Billy Shilton scored maximums for the visitors. A strong Woodchester A beat the visiting Phoenix B 6-4, but none of the home players could contain the visitors Liwu Wei, who won all three singles in a man-of-the-match performance.
Division 2: The points were shared at five-apiece when Randwick B entertained Nailsworth A, but it was Dave Pugh for the visitors who went through the evening unbeaten in singles.
There was another draw in the division when Phoenix D and Whiteshill A met at the Nailsworth club, but no one player came out on top.
Randwick A lost 4-6 at home to Frampton C for whom Dave Metcalfe was man-of-the-match with a hat-trick of wins. Bob Murray produced a winning performance for Frampton B, but his side could still only draw with the visiting Cam & Dursley A.
Division 3: A maximum from Steve Partridge and an all-round solid performance from Whiteshill B gave them a comfortable 8-2 victory when playing at Phoenix E.
In the Woodchester derby the visiting C team dominated their D team club mates running out 8-2 winners with both Olly Philp and Roger Davis going unbeaten. The points were equally shared when Phoenix G entertained Phoenix F with Andy Hammond undefeated for the away side.
Division 4: Cam & Dursley C lost at home to Randwick E as James Murray scored a max for the visitors in a 7-3 win.
Two-player Forest Green C also lost by the same 7-3 scoreline when they entertained Phoenix H but Fritz Curzon was unbeaten for the hosts. In another 7-3 result, this time the home side Frampton D, beat visiting Randwick D with Simon Ruddleston scoring a maximum for the hosts. Thomas Spellman won all his three singles, while his Phoenix I team beat Nailsworth B by six points to four.
