ON a day best suited for Artic ducks, Dursley welcomed fourth-placed Old Colstonians, and what has become a repeating occurrence found themselves 5-0 down inside the first few minutes. The home side decided the best way to address this was to attack and ran in 45 unanswered points.

Dursley drew level following driving forward play when Chappell crashed over in the corner. Dursley quickly gained the upper hand at the scrum pushing the opposition back on the Dursley feed and off the ball on Old Colstonians feed. This dominance allowed the backs to run in a try under the posts courtesy of Kerry-Campbell, next over the line was Baily following strong forward play to make it 19-5 at half-time

With the weather worsening the sides kicked-off the second-half, Dursley ran the ball back and from a ruck - Perrett was released to run in from the halfway line, Lennard added the two points.

Cole was next to score when following a rampaging forward’s move the ball was off- loaded and he ran in deflecting tackles from the 22, Sam Powell then steeped up for Dursley sixth- try with his first touch of the ball after replacing Lennard when he out-paced his opposite number to score under the posts.

The final try of the match came on 65 minutes when Perrett pirouetting through four attempted tackles, releasing Chappell to score Ford added the two points.
