Forest Green earned a credible draw against second place Mansfield Town on a pulsating night at the New Lawn.
Mansfield took the lead through Jorge Grant in the first half before they were twice denied by the woodwork.
Rovers improved in the second half but were dealt a blow when James Montgomery took a whack in the face by Gethin Jones which resulted him losing teeth before Reuben Reid equalised for Forest Green.
