PREVIOUS MEETING

Cirencester 3-3 Slimbridge - Tuesday, November 13 2018

A thrilling contest at the Corinium Stadium saw the two sides share six goals.

Will Hawes gave Slimbridge the lead after 11 minutes before Adam Connolly headed in the equaliser 10 minutes before the break.

Ewan Dunbar then restored the Swans' lead two minutes into the second half but Cirencester again fought back and Ben Whitehead brought them level three minutes later.

Dunbar scored his second on the hour mark with a fine solo effort but Ellis Dunton was the hero as Cirencester rescued a point in the 92nd minute.

OUR VERDICT

An important match at both ends of the table between two teams who will be desperate to get back on track.

Slimbridge haven't won for a month while Cirencester haven't played for two weeks and will be keen to get back to winning ways after back to back defeats.

Ciren have been pretty unfortunate in recent weeks. Alan Griffin's sending off against Blackfield & Langley was controversial while they were decimated by injury against Winchester.

A week without a game due to the snow has given them a chance to get players back and they're now back to full strength.

It's the league's best attack v the league's worst attack which only points to one result - an away win.

Slimbridge are a team who can upset the odds though, as they did back in November in the 3-3 draw with Cirencester.

At full strength, Ciren should have enough to win the game and never have a problem scoring goals.

PREDICTION

Slimbridge 0-2 Cirencester
