FOREST Green boss Mark Cooper says his side conceded two 'horrendous' goals as they fell to their second successive defeat.

Kaiyne Woolery came back to haunt Forest Green while Theo Robinson doubled Swindon's advantage just before the break.

Cooper was disappointed with goals Rovers conceded and rued missed chances in the second half but praised the way Swindon defended.
"We didn't think we were in danger but we gave two horrendous goals away from our attacking positions when we chose to play backwards rather than forwardsfrom attacking positions and we had to change it," Cooper said.

"The second half performance was good but give credit to Swindon they defended really well.

"We had some brilliant chances around the six yard box and we couldn't get that goal.

Rovers did have a goal ruled out for offside when George Williams' header got the better of Lawrence Vigouroux.

The Rovers boss felt it was a tight one but wasn't using that as an excuse and insisted Swindon deserve credit.

"It's very close when you see it back but lets give credit to Swindon they defended really well and got blocks in," he said.

"Swindon managed the game, I thought the referee let them manage the game really well, there was a lot of timewasting and he didn't want to punish them on that."

Cooper also discussed Williams' performance, his belief in the players and gave an update on Dayle Grubb.
