PROMOTION-CHASING Forest Green eased to a comfortable 3-0 victory over struggling Yeovil Town.

Forest Green striker Junior Mondal scored his first goal on his full league debut since his January move from non-league Whitby Town.

Christian Doidge added a second and captain Lee Collins grabbed a third after the break as Mark Cooper's side got their automatic promotion ambitions back on track.

Here are our player ratings.

FOREST GREEN (4-2-3-1)

Lewis Ward 7: Had little to do as Yeovil wasted their occasional chances with wayward finishing. Couple of useful saves on the cusp of the break.

Carl Winchester 7:  Deployed as a right-back to negate the loss of Liam Shepherd. Always a willing runner coming forward. Played his part in the goal that led to Rovers' opener.

Farrend Rawson 8: Back to his imperious best at the back and even got a pat on the back from taskmaster boss Mark Cooper.

Gavin Gunning 7: Did good work defensively and is in a rich vein of form.

Joseph Mills 7: Arguably the best left-sided attacking defender in the league - always a threat driving forward.

Paul Digby 7: Another confident and mature display in the middle of the midfield engine room.

Lee Collins 8: First start of the season and bossed the game. Capped off a confident display with a goal.

Reece Brown 6: Struggled on the unforgiving surface, but was always eager to play the killer pass.

Junior Mondal 7: Earned his first start after catching the eye in training on Friday. Capped his good day at the office with his first goal in a Forest Green shirt.

George Williams 9: More stunning displays like this and Ryan Giggs will be pencilling in his name for a recall to the Welsh national side. A constant thorn in the side of Yeovil. Dangerous at set-plays and conjured goals for Christian Doidge and Lee Collins.

Christian Doidge 7: Worked his socks off and was on hand to score Rovers' second. His goals will be key to his side's promotion ambitions.

SUBSTITUTES

Nathan McGinley 6: Replaced Mills on 66 minutes with the game pretty much done and dusted.

Shawn McCoulsky 6: Came on for Mondal with 19 minutes remaining and looked sharp.

Ben Liddle 6: Introduced for Collins for the last 11 minutes and had little chance to make his mark.
