Chipping Sodbury slipped to a frustrating home defeat to Hallen who leapfrogged them with victory.
After a goalless first half, Sodbury fell behind on 51 minutes.
Hallen were awarded a penalty and Kyle Thomas stepped up to convert from the spot.
Sodbury managed to equalise and it was Sam Taylor who drew them level.
They couldn't hold on though and Aaron Anglin scored what proved to be the winner for Hallen.
Chipping Sodbury have slipped to 16th in the Toolstation Western Football League Premier while Hallen have climbed to 14th.
Sods were on a five game unbeaten run prior to the visit of Hallen.
Their next game is on Tuesday, February 26 when they travel to Bitton in the league before they host Buckland Athletic on Saturday, March 2.
