FOREST GREEN are expected to rebuff any approach from Bradford City for boss Mark Cooper.
The Bantams boss David Hopkin has resigned as manager of League One strugglers Bradford City after less than six months in charge, winning seven of his 35 matches.
However, Forest Green chairman Dale Vince would be opposed to letting his manager leave the New Lawn with Rovers vying for automatic League Two promotion.
Yorkshire-born Cooper has been linked previously this season with MK Dons and Brentford.
In October, Cooper responded to a link to the Bees by saying: "I don't know anything about it. It's always nice to get linked to jobs but our focus is fully on Forest Green.
"If you're getting results that always happens. The more times it happens then great because it means you're getting results but it's the players that go out on the pitch and perform so if they're doing that then these things happen."
