Meticulous Lincoln City boss Danny Cowley and brother Nicky made a 10am New Lawn pitch inspection ahead of their top of the table clash with promotion rivals Forest Green this morning.
Mindful of the unforgiving playing surface, the Cowley brothers were spotted running the rule over the pitch ahead of this afternoon's clash against their bitter rivals.
Cowley told Lincolnshire Live: " I know they’ve had issues with their pitch recently and have been a little more direct as a result.
“It’s always a tough game but one we always look forward to. It now becomes a very important game in our season.
“We’ve had good away form this season and we’re looking forward to the challenges Saturday will bring.”
The Imps top the table with Rovers dropping to seventh after their 1-0 defeat to Mansfield last weekend.
