Gloucestershire County Women's League Division Two

Dursley Town Ladies 7 Gloucester City Ladies 2

CHARLOTTE Warren scored three goals in 15 first-half minutes to put Dursley on the way to three points which saw Suze Stanley's team leapfrog City in the league table.

Playing with Storm Freya howling into their faces in the first half, Town nevertheless took the lead early on when Zoe Gabb fired home from Gemma Butler's through ball.

However, by the 20-minute mark, the hosts were behind as two corners were not cleared and the Tigers bundled the ball in each time - one a Ros Rocke own goal.

Dursley quickly responded, though, and within five minutes they were level as Aine Redmond crossed low and Warren converted with a neat finish at the near post.

Gabb had another from a Butler pass after Redmond twice blocked clearances, and Warren had her second from another great Butler ball driven into the wind.

Michelle Watson got in on the act with a measured through ball for Warren to race away to complete her hat-trick, as Town threatened to run riot.

Although Butler's 25-yard blast made it six soon after the break, the hosts dropped off the pace thereafter, with a number of substitutions stalling the momentum.

Stephanie Hill converted a penalty after a Watson piledriver was handled, but the last half-hour passed by goalless as Dursley gave all their players a decent run-out.
