KATHARINE Lady Berkeley student Katie Allen bagged gymnastics silver at the Spelthorn cup .
Ham-based Katie, 18, and her team-mates from Harriers Acrobatic Gymnastics club spent two long days performing three routines each. Katie, with Georgie Harrington and Abbie Callanan won silver; Molly Mason, George Hutchinson, Nieve Castle won bronze; Ellie Field and Robyn England won bronze in their categories.
Groups were from all over Great Britain, including Wales and Scotland so the weekend was competitive and to a very high standard.
A club spokesman said: "Thanks go to the coaches, particularly Sarah Bateman, our head coach, and the judges for giving up their weekend to support the gymnasts."
