PLUCKY Slimbridge were beaten by two stoppage time goals against Bristol City U23s at Thornhill Park.
City nosed ahead on 20 minutes - Max Williams fizzing home from a Sam Pearson assist.
The tie threatened to boil over. Swans' Steve Jackson and City captain Harvey Smith locked horns and cautions were later dished out to Jackson, Sam Mendes, Brad Webb and Smith.
Slimbridge netted parity when Gloucester City loanee Danny King saw his strike clip Kieran Smith to beat Will Buse in the City goal.
With the game heading towards penalties, Day nosed City ahead with a 25 yard thunderbolt that Adams palmed into the net.
Ricardo Rees added a third with the final kick of the game.
Bristol City will play the winner of the semi-final between Cinderford Town and Forest Green U23s.
