Cirencester tasted defeat for the first time as Hatherley & Reddings made it three from three with a 130-run win, Tom Hage unbeaten on 102 off 82 balls (11 fours and a six) in the West of England Premier League at the weekend writes Steve Hill.

Cirencester could only manage 146 as they chased Hatherley and Reddings 276.

In Premier One, Jordan Garrett blasted 104 off just 59 deliveries to help pave the way for Downend to crush champions Clevedon by 205 runs and make it three from three.

Gloucestershire’s Benny Howell marked his debut for Bishopston by top scoring on 62 in a 60-run home victory over Midsomer Norton in Premier Two Bristol/Somerset.

Promoted Winterbourne suffered a first setback, slipping to a 54-run defeat at Taunton Deane.
