Keanu Marsh-Brown is on the cusp of a switch from English League Two for the MLS - with a raft of clubs in contention for the former Forest Green playmaker.

The Sun reports Wayne Rooney's DC United, Chicago Fire and Portland Timbers are chasing his signature.

It is understood the current Newport County player was scouted during his international debut for the Guyana where they faced USA.

Marsh-Brown spent three seasons at Forest Green, helping Mark Cooper's side into the Football League after starting his career with Premier League Arsenal and Fulham. He left Rovers a year ago to join County on a two-year deal.
