BRIMSCOMBE beat a plucky Chalford side 4-3 in a testing friendly at the Meadow.
Sam Prior's Brimscombe scored through James Campbell (2), Ed Major and Chalmers Phin. Chalford's goals came from Jordan Measures, Andy Marr and Freddie Wilson.
Brimscombe boss Prior said: "It was a good workout under tough conditions against a very good Chalford side. Attitudes and performance need tweaking, for quite a few."
Chalford boss Ben Powell was pleased with his side's showing, he said: "More vital minutes in the tank, we spent large periods without the ball, but stuck to a plan and managed to cause problems in the final third."
Brimscombe travel to Shortwood on Friday, 7.30pm. Admission at Meadowbank is pay-what-you-want.
