Forest Green Rovers manager Mark Cooper revealed midfielders Lloyd James and Charlie Cooper are not part of his plans for next season, and revealed the latter will be signing for another club this week.
Cooper was speaking after Rovers won 6-1 at Yate Town in their latest pre-season friendly which both players were not involved in.
The Forest Green boss explained the current situation between the players.
"Lloyd has another year with us but I've had a good chat with Lloyd and he knows the situation," said Cooper.
"Charlie will be signing for another club, hopefully, on Friday."
Cooper didn't reveal the club Charlie is set to sign for.
Other players missing were Liam Shephard, James Montgomery and Taylor Allen and the manager cleared up the reasons behind their absence.
"Shephard has had a little reaction to his operation so we're just offloading him for a couple of days," he said.
"Taylor twisted his ankle yesterday morning and James Montgomery was ill."
