'For 55 minutes it was a contest,' Britton on defeat to Forest Green
Yate Town boss Paul Britton was in a positive mood despite losing 6-1 to Forest Green Rovers in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday night.
Olly Mehew scored their only goal in the first half which ended 1-1 before Rovers' fitness and quality shone through in the second half.
Britton was pleased with the workout and felt the match was a good contest for just under an hour.
