THORNBURY came from behind to beat Hallen on Tuesday night, writes Tom Shorey.
Hallen went 1-0 through Issac Reid on 15 minutes. However, Jim Brock equalised with an impressive free-kick on 55 minutes and Leighton Tuodolo scored what ended up being the winner 10 minutes later.
Tuodolo has come up through the club's youth teams, emphasising new manager Jason Rees' promise to utilise young talent in the side.
Thornbury open their league season on Tuesday, August 13 against league newcomers Malvern Town, kick-off 7.45pm at the Mundy Playing Fields. Tickets are still £5 including a programme and free entry for under-16s. Season tickets are also available for £60 which includes entry to all home league games and discounted entry to cup games.
Coach travel to Thornbury's FA Cup game at Leighton Town on August 10 will cost £10.
