Forest Green made it back-to-back 1-0 home wins in their League Two victory over Grimsby Town but how did we rate the players?

Ratings out of 10

Jo Wollacott 6 Couple of scratchy clearances, but little to do on his league debut for Forest Green. Produced a smart stop in the second-half.

Dom Bernard 7 A more than capable deputy for Liam Shephard and played his part in Junior Mondal’s goal.

Nathan McGinley 7 Solid throughout and nullified the attacking intent of Matt Green.

Matt Mills 7 Had giant Grimsby striker James Hanson in his pocket. Strolled through the game with ease – key to Rovers’ solidity at the back.

Udoka Godwin-Malife 8 Came in for Farrend Rawson (concussion) and didn’t disappoint. Always eager to get on the front foot and drive forward.

Joe Mills 7 Red-hot this season and yet another eye-catching performance. A real threat when going forward.

Kevin Dawson 7 Neat and tidy and a real force in central midfield and the perfect foil for Carl Winchester.

Ebou Adams 6 First league start and added legs to Rovers’ midfield. A few wayward passes as the game entered the final phases.

Carl Winchester 7 Boundless energy from the Irishman – has a big part to play this season.

Matt Stevens 6 Hooked at the break after struggling to get into the game as Grimsby piled bodies behind the ball.

Shawn McCoulsky 6 Scant opportunities to make any significant impact.
