Aaron Connolly could be set for action for Albion in the Carabao Cup.

The Irish striker is likely to feature when the Seagulls head west for the second round tie on Tuesday.

Conolly scored his third goal in two games in Premier League 2 tonight as Albion beat their Leicester City counterparts 3-0 at the King Power Stadium.

Speaking ahead of tonight's match, head coach Graham Potter said: “He is training with us, he is training well actually. I think he will be involved, certainly in the group.

“We will see after the game at the weekend and make an assessment.”

Connolly curled a stunning finish on 39 minutes after great work by Alex Cochrane and Jordan Davies.

Davies was involved again to help Albion force Leicester into an error on 50 minutes and Peter Gwargis chipped home the second.

Bojan Radulovic added the third on 88 minutes with a brilliant finish in the far top corner.

Albion fielded Jason Steele in goal as an over-age player.
