FOREST GREEN head coach Mark Cooper is hopeful Liam Shephard will be fit for Rovers' top of the table clash at Exeter City on Saturday.
Shephard limped off in the first-half of Rovers' 8-7 penalty shootout victory in the EFL Trophy qualifying group game after the game ended all square after 90 minutes.
Shephard spent a frustrating summer on the sidelines after a knee operation, but returned to rude health in the last three games. Meanwhile, Dayle Grubb is expected to be sidelined for a lengthy period after hobbling off inside the first two minutes of last night's game.
Watch Mark Cooper discuss the victory over Coventry City.
